  • Diagnostic studies of viral diseases of farm animals, poultry and domestic unproductive animals;
  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of preventive vaccinations;
  • Evaluation of the immune status of parent herds and offspring;
  • Retrospective diagnosis;
  • Determination of the level of maternal antibodies in the blood serum of daily chickens to various infectious diseases of birds;
  • Monitoring studies to determine antibodies to viral infections to clarify the epizootic situation in the farm




IN THE VIROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT microscopic, serological, biological, virological studies are carried out using transportable cell lines, highly sensitive and specific test systems based on:

  • hemagglutination inhibition reactions;
  • indirect hemagglutination reactions;
  • immunofluorescence;
  • viral secretions using cell lines


A modern laboratory research base is used to conduct diagnostic studies:

  • Microplate analyzers of various modifications;
  • Luminescent microscopes with video documentation system;
  • СО2 incubators, thermostat shakers;
  • Inverted luminescent systems;
  • Modules for automatic registration of hemagglutination methods

When performing services, an individual approach is applied to each specific case when choosing diagnostic tests - systems, methods, making a diagnosis and providing research results:

  • Current preventive vaccination programmes are taken into account;
  • DIVA strategies applied;
  • clinical picture analysis, differential diagnosis;
